COMPANY HISTORY
COMPANY PROFILE

finiteMonkeys Inc. is a leader in the mobile space for original development and porting. Independently owned and operated since 1997, finiteMonkeys has ported over 300 applications to 1000’s of different handsets.

finiteMonkeys is a dynamic company known for its technical and artistic abilities in both original development and porting services-- including 2D, 3D, and networked games. Specializing in making code bases that run on as many platforms as possible without game code changes, our current engine runs on BREW, J2ME, Symbian, Windows XP/CE, Nintendo DS, Linux, GP2X, and OS X.

In addition to ports, original development titles include Stuart Little 2: Air Adventure for J2ME, Congo Cube for J2ME, Kelly Slater Pro Surfing for Mophun, Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and Spongebob Squarepants: Baytona 500 for all wireless platforms.

CHARLIE WALLACE
CTO, Engineering Development

Active in the games industry since 1987, Charlie Wallace is a pioneer of software engineering. Having worked on every major console, multiple PC systems, and proprietary machinery, it's hard to say what platforms he has not been involved with. Moving into the mobile workspace at finiteMonkeys saw the creation of a sophisticated build engine that allowed cross-language ports of mobile games not by the dozens but by the hundreds. Outside of mobile porting and original hardware and software development, Charlie continues to develop new and better foundations for making great games at finiteMonkeys-- on all platforms.
